About Claro

Claro playing a wooden piano at Dooleys in a grey suit

Claro Tungul is a Sydney-based professional pianist with perfect pitch. After losing his sight at 18, music became an even more central way for him to connect, listen and perform.

Because he learns entirely by ear, Claro has the rare ability to recreate almost any melody flawlessly just by hearing it. This unique talent has allowed him to build a massive, versatile repertoire spanning classical pieces, jazz standards, modern hits, and romantic ballads.

With over a decade of performing at exclusive hotels and prominent venues across Sydney and abroad, Claro doesn't just play background music—he delivers a captivating musical experience.
